Dear Students, Families, Faculty, and Friends,
It is with deep gratitude and great excitement that I welcome you to a new school year as the Head of School at Learning Jungle and Westview Cambodian International School.

For the past five years, I have had the privilege of serving the schools as an advisor—observing growth, celebrating achievements, and supporting their mission. Today, I step into the role of Head of School with a profound respect for the journey we’ve taken together and a clear vision for where we are going.

At the Learning Jungle and Westview, we are proud to be more than a place of learning. We are a community guided by values—rooted in Khmer tradition, and reaching toward global horizons. We believe that academic excellence must walk hand in hand with cultural identity, and that graduates of true distinction are well-prepared for university and career and deeply grounded in who they are.

Our commitment to high-quality, research-based teaching practices continues to yield results. Our students consistently perform at high levels, not by chance, but through the dedication of our outstanding faculty, who bring expertise, care, and international best practices into every classroom—from kindergarten to Grade 12.

As our partnerships with leading international universities grow, so too do the opportunities for our students. Whether they are just learning to read or preparing for graduation, every child is part of a learning pathway that is rigorous, future-focused, and deeply human.

We remain steadfast in our belief that good character is not taught in a single lesson, but cultivated daily—through example, reflection, and meaningful connection. Our school is designed to nurture not only the mind, but the heart: to produce young people who are kind, courageous, respectful, and resilient.

This year, we continue our work to unify all divisions of the school into one vibrant, purposeful learning community. From the laughter of our youngest learners to the aspirations of our senior students, our mission is shared and our direction is clear.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I look forward to the year ahead with great hope, and even greater confidence in what we can achieve together.

Warm regards,

Dr.-Michele-Gaddy
