Dear Students, Families, Faculty, and Friends,

It is with deep gratitude and renewed confidence that I welcome you to Westview Cambodian International School.

Over the past year, our community has taken an important step forward with the achievement of dual accreditation by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Westview is now one of only three international schools in Cambodia to hold this distinction—meeting the rigorous standards of two of the most respected accreditation bodies in the world.

This achievement represents far more than recognition. Accreditation is a commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. It affirms that our academic programs, teaching practices, student support systems, and leadership meet international benchmarks—and that we are committed to sustained growth rather than standing still.

At Westview, we are proud to be a values-driven school—rooted in Khmer culture and oriented toward global opportunity. We believe academic excellence must be paired with cultural identity, and that graduates of true distinction are not only well prepared for university, but confident in who they are and how they contribute to the world.

Our students benefit from high-quality, research-based teaching delivered by dedicated and experienced educators from Preschool through Grade 12. As part of our continued development, we are expanding our academic pathways, including the growth of our Advanced Placement (AP) program and the introduction of Pre-AP courses, ensuring students are progressively prepared for advanced study and competitive university admissions.

Westview offers a diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, alongside internationally accredited programs that are widely respected by universities around the world. Whether a student is just beginning their learning journey or preparing to graduate, each child is supported within a coherent, future-focused pathway.

Equally important, we believe character is cultivated daily—through relationships, reflection, and example. Our school is designed to nurture both intellect and integrity, developing young people who are thoughtful, principled, resilient, and compassionate.

As we continue to strengthen Westview as a unified learning community, our direction is clear and our foundation strong. From the curiosity of our youngest learners to the aspirations of our senior students, we move forward together with confidence in our standards and optimism for what lies ahead.

Thank you for your trust and partnership. I look forward to the year ahead and to the continued growth of our school community.

Warm regards,

Dr.-Michele-Gaddy
