My name is Vanny Sok. I am very honored to serve as the Director of this beautiful school!
I began my tenure as School Director in 2019. Prior to Westview, I was a founding Director of the sister elementary school, Learning Jungle International School since 2014.
Prior to school leadership, I spent more than 8 years holding positions in the legal and financial industries, including a managerial role at the Cambodia Stock Exchange, a financial advisory role at Desjardins Credit Union in Montreal, as a certified financial planner at IQPF in Canada, and an additional two years working in accounting and legal firms in France.
Growing up, I strongly believed that Education is a key determinant to improving one’s life and the world. That is why I am very passionate about the privilege I have and the duty I hold to make a meaningful difference in the life of Cambodian Youth. My goal is to see the Cambodian younger generation have a brighter and more successful future than our generation. With the aspiration to equip Cambodian youth with global competency while embracing their Cambodian values and culture, I resigned from my financial career to work full time at LJIS and then at WVIS.
Westview Cambodian International School is the great extension to secondary education by the passionate leadership team of Learning Jungle International School Cambodia (LJIS) offering educational service only preschool to elementary program. With the strong support from parents, students, staff and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Westview Cambodian International School is created to offer the Secondary International Curriculum program built from the world renowned standards of education, American Common Core Standards (ACCS), and the Khmer language, history and culture into one unique curriculum from grade 7 to 12. Our mission is to educate our youth to become confident, equipped with global competencies whilst embracing their Cambodian identity, culture and values.
